Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of Plan With Friends and its products (Dish, Roam, and any future tools). Please read them carefully.

1. Who you're contracting with

Plan With Friends is operated by Lucas Didier ("we", "us", "our"), an individual sole trader. By creating an account or using the service you enter into a binding agreement with Lucas Didier.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Plan With Friends — including signing up, creating a dinner or trip, voting on a session, or making a purchase — you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and, if you are using the service on behalf of an organization, that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. The service

Plan With Friends is a suite of group-decision tools. Dish helps groups pick a dinner, Roam helps groups pick a trip, and additional tools may be added over time. The free tier allows one dinner and one trip; paid tiers unlock unlimited use of one or more products.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
  • send spam, phishing links, or unsolicited messages through invite features;
  • upload content that infringes intellectual-property rights or violates the rights of others;
  • attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the service (probing, scanning, scraping at scale, uploading malware, or circumventing rate limits);
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or any part of it.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

6. Intellectual property

Plan With Friends, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Lucas Didier and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose within the tier you have access to. You retain ownership of the content you submit (your dinner names, participant lists, votes), and grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service.

7. AI-generated content

Some features use AI to generate suggestions (recipes, destinations, summaries). These suggestions are produced by third-party large language models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular situation. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before acting on them — including checking ingredients for allergies, confirming travel feasibility, and verifying any factual claims. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

You must not use the AI features to generate illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, malware, or to attempt to bypass model safety controls. We may filter, restrict, or suspend access if you misuse these features.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By making a purchase you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which cover payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics.

Paid plans are sold as one-time lifetime purchases for the relevant product (Dish, Roam, or the full suite). Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout in your local currency where supported.

9. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for details on how to request a refund.

10. Service availability

We work hard to keep Plan With Friends running smoothly, but we don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We may need to perform maintenance, change features, or temporarily suspend access. Where possible we'll give notice of significant changes.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you materially breach these terms, if your account presents a security or fraud risk, or if you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the service at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard.

On termination, your access will end and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucas Didier's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Lucas Didier against any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes will be brought before the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
